LAEDC’s Business Assistance team offers confidential, free-of-charge consulting to large and small, domestic and international businesses across all industry sectors. We help businesses and key industries overcome challenges so they can grow and hire, including layoff aversion programs.

Employers planning a closure or major layoffs can get help through the Rapid Response program. Rapid Response teams will meet with you to discuss your needs, help avert future layoffs, and provide immediate on-site services to assist workers facing job losses, including information about unemployment benefits, Trade Adjustment Assistance Act benefits, COBRA benefits, and re-employment services available through the America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) system.

Homeless Engagement and Response Team | HEART staff are dedicated to operating the Los Angeles County Homeless Court Citation Clinic.
