We will engage your business in strategic planning focused on workforce investment to drive business growth and employee development. We can assist your business in the development of a low or no cost customized training programs to build your pipeline of qualified workers to meet all your workforce needs. • (IWT) Incumbent Worker Training: IWT is a work-based training program designed to meet the special requirements of you, the employer, with allowable costs reimbursed by us, the County. The goal of IWT is to retain your skilled workforce, avert the need for you to lay-off employees by assisting your employees in obtaining the skills necessary to retain employment and/or provide training that will result in progression on a career pathway and income mobility.
• (ETP) Employment Training Panel: ETP is a work-based training program to support job creation and retention, through training.  ETP is funded by a special tax on California employers like you. ETP helps reimburse the cost of your employer-driven training for incumbent workers and funds the type of training needed by unemployed workers to re-enter the workforce.
